Robert D. Scharf is a managing and founding partner in the law firm of Weinstein & Scharf, P.A. Mr. Scharf was born in northern New Jersey in 1955. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Rochester in 1977 and his juris doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1981. Following his graduation from the University of Miami, Mr. Scharf began his legal career by handling numerous civil litigation matters which included personal injury and commercial claims as well as real estate law.

In 1983 Mr. Scharf became one of the founding partners of the law firm of Weinstein & Scharf, P.A.

Since 1982 Mr. Scharf has developed a civil litigation practice which includes numerous jury trials, bench trials, mediations, arbitrations and lump sum negotiations with insurance companies. He is also vice president and director of SunFirst Title, Inc. which performs real estate closings throughout the State of Florida.

Mr. Scharf is a member of the Florida Bar Association, various Florida County Bar Associations and the American Bar Association. Mr. Scharf is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and is also admitted to practice in the Federal Court of the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Scharf frequently participates in pro bono cases from the Lawyers Care program.
